Good morning.  Winter holds it’s own special beauty in Estes Park, and I’m sorry for those of you that only get to see it in the summer time with all of the hustle and bustle.  This time of year Estes Park has it’s own solitude, and with a blanket of clouds covering our community this morning it was particularly quite.

Estes Park Golf Course

Estes Park's Golf Course Entrance Sign

I had a great day playing in the snow today and the golf course was one of the places that I went that I thought you would enjoy.

Warning Signs at the Golf Course

WARNING SIGNS AT THE GOLF COURSE

The warning signs seem to be silently useless with the snow dampening the sounds all around and keeping the golfers inside by the fire or in some other warmer part of the country.  You can see that there are no buckets of balls available today for anyone interested in improving their game.

Silence overtakes the driving range.

Silenty the range awaits a warmer day when golfers can work in thier drives at the driving range.

Still Snowing

It is still snowing in Estes Park, but we are not accumulating much on the ground.  It is making everything beautiful, fresh and clean.  I took some time to go out into Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday morning.

FOX

It is truly amazing what you see living in Estes Park.  We had a light dusting of snow that made everything look as though God had put a light dusting of powdered sugar over everything this morning.  This young fox was enjoying a great day in the fresh snow and sun.

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN

I’ve been waiting for some time to get rid of the Window’s Vista operating system.  I decided to upgrade this week.  I’m sure that it will be some time next week before things are back to kind of normal.

The Dell Tech Support guys had me working on my computer.  I told them that it probably wasn’t a very good idea.
